People with hidden disabilities could soon have greater access to Blue Badges under new plans from transport minister Jesse Norman. The proposals would help remove barriers to travel for people with conditions such as dementia and autism, allowing them better access to work, shops and amenities.

The Department for Transport says the changes are part of a drive for greater parity between the treatment of physical and mental health conditions.
