A Scottish politician has launched a consultation on legislation that he hopes will clarify on the way privately operated car parks are enforced. Murdo Fraser, a member of the Scottish Parliament, says he has received hundreds of complaints about private parking penalty notices. The Conservative MSP wants to introduce a Member’s Bill in the Scottish Parliament that will provide greater consistency and transparency.
The consultation will last for three months.
