Parkeon`s Bertrand Barthélemy will remain group chief executive of the combined Parkeon and Cale operation

Parking system manufacturers Parkeon and Cale have entered into exclusive negotiations that could bring about their merger.

Parkeon is based in France, while Cale is a Swedish company. Both companies produce parking payment terminals and management software.

The enlarged group would have around 1,300 employees largely based in France, UK, Sweden and North America.

It is planned that the Cale and Parkeon brands would both continue to used be after the transaction is completed. For the year ended...
