A European digital mapping specialist owned by German car companies is to work with a Japanese electronics company to develop location services for connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs).

HERE Technologies and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO) aim to offer services to support cars with ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) currently on the road today right through to the fully autonomous vehicles of the future.
