Meet & greet parking operator jailed over tax evasion

The operator of a meet & greet parking firm operating in Manchester has been jailed for income tax and National Insurance offences. 

Brian Pearson, who pleaded guilty, was sentenced to three years plus two months in prison.

Pearson ran MIA Secure Parking (later known as UK Premier Parking) that picked up cars from tourists flying out of Manchester Airport.

In March 2015 investigation teams from Revenue and Custom raided the company’s offices and Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester....
