Haringey street parking goes cashless

North London council scraps pay stations in favour of PayByPhone and PayPoint

The London Borough of Haringey will have phased out all its on-street parking pay stations by the middle of October. Instead of purchasing parking sessions at a terminals, motorists will pay for their stay via the PayByPhone smartphone app or at local shops that are linked to PayPoint, the utility payment network.
