An underground car park that uses a spiral ramp approach to create structure with a minimal number columns has been named the Best New Car Park in Europe.
The Park Primo Maggio, in the Italian town of Udine was among the winners at the European Parking Awards.
The 387-space car park has been designed so cars park on a gently sloping spiral as well as decks that have been configured as clearspan environments.
The Best Renovation Award was also won by an underground car park project....
