Mayor of London launches school air quality audits

WSP to work with 50 primary schools across capital

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has announced that ‘air quality audits’ will be undertaken at 50 primary schools in the worst polluted areas in London. The audits being funded by £250,000 from the Mayor’s Air Quality Fund and conducted by global engineering consultancy WSP.

The audits will identify measures to protect pupils’ health from toxic air and examine new ways to both lower emissions and exposure to pollution in and around schools.
