A Canadian ANPR parking enforcement system that can be fitted on a motor scooter has been trialled in Belgium.
The AutoVu Motoscan from Genetec is a lightweight, low-power automatic number plate recognition camera unit designed to be mounted on a small motorcycle without compromising the balance and stability of the vehicle.
The system automatically scans vehicle number plates and transmits the information to the parking authority’s back-end system to identify parking violations.
