POPLA tells private parking operators ‘comply with data rules’

Private parking operators have been told they need to ensure the evidence packs they send to Parking on Private Land Appeals (POPLA) for defending parking charge notices at appeal comply with the Data Protection Act.

POPLA hears the cases of motorists who contest parking charges issued by members of the British Parking Association Approved Operator Scheme (AOS).
