Young people ready to adopt connected and autonomous vehicles, SMMT study suggests

Connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) will transform the lives of more than seven out of 10 young people by giving them greater freedom of movement, according to new research published by SMMT, the organisation that represents the UK automotive sector. Young people feel their lives are currently restricted by costly or infrequent public transport, as well as prohibitively expensive car insurance.
