The first UK-built domestic vehicle-to-grid unit has been installed in Loughborough, Leicestershire. The vehicle-to-grid (V2G) system will enables the homeowners to use a electric vehicle (EV) to power their home. 

The V2G system was developed through the Ebbs and Flows of Energy Systems (EFES) collaborative project.
