Police officer dismissed for trying to get parking fine cancelled

A Metropolitan Police constable has been dismissed after making a false entry on a police database in an attempt to get a penalty charge notice (PCN) cancelled. 

PC Christian Ciobanu, who was attached to the London Borough Barnet, was found to have had a case to answer for in respect of the Metropolitan Police Service's Standards of Professional Behaviour under two of its protocols: ‘Honesty and Integrity’ and ‘Discreditable Conduct’.
