Vehicles in Paris required to display emissions stickers

A scheme requiring drivers to display emissions stickers on their vehicles has been launched in Paris. The scheme, Crit’Air (air criteria), consists of six coloured disks rating how clean a vehicle’s emissions are. 

A restricted traffic area – ‘Zones à Circulation Restreinte /ZCR’ – has been set up, which only vehicles equipped with a Crit’Air disk are allowed to enter.
