Croydon to relax parking rules over Christmas

Restrictions on parking bays and council car parks will relaxed in Croydon over the Christmas and New Year period.

Croydon Council believes its annual relaxation of parking charges enables people to visit shops, enjoy the displays of festive illuminations or to drop in on friends and relatives.

The South London council has decided that the whole borough will be free of parking charges in council-run car parks and on-street bays on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve...
