Parking charge variations bill proceeds to committee stage

A bill amending wording within the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 relating to the varying of local authority parking charges is moving through Parliament.

The Parking Places (Variations of Charges Bill) 2016-17 has been prepared by the Department for Communities and Local Government.

The bill passed its second reading in the House of Commons on 25 November and will now be scrutinised by the Public Bill Committee.
