New residents parking controls planned for south Belfast

02 December 2016

A new residents parking scheme is being proposed in south Belfast to end the use of streets for all-day commuter parking. College Park Avenue and Rugby Road in the Holyland area will have 117 parking spaces for residents and 127 pay & display spaces. Residents will pay £30 for a permit.

Local businesses will be served by short-stay parking spaces on Rugby Road and a loading bay in Carmel Street to facilitate local businesses.
