Farmers enter the railway parking market

A car park created by farmers to provide spaces for rail users in Northamptonshire has received a Park Mark. Farming family Jackson & Co identified the need for parking at Long Buckby Station after noticing how many cars were parked on adjacent roads.

The family obtained planning permission for a 290-space car park, helping reduce the number of vehicles parked on the approach road.

The car park is operated for the family by Indigo Park Solutions.
