East Midland Trains stations receive safety and security awards

Scores of East Midlands Trains stations and car parks have been officially recognised for their safety and security by two national schemes.

Some 58 stations on the network have been accredited under the Secure Stations Scheme, which is administered by the Department for Transport and British Transport Police. The scheme represents a national standard for passenger safety and security on Britain’s railway stations.
