Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has retained APCOA UK & Ireland as its parking contractor, expanding the company’s remit to include off-street parking management as well as on-street enforcement.
APCOA has worked for the Essex council since 2002. It has been awarded a new seven-year contract said to be worth £6m.
The new contract will see the introduction of electric cars and bicycles for civil enforcement officers.
