A man who received a fine for not registering to park in a supermarket car park resorted to drawing a cartoon to prove he was a genuine customer.

Teacher Steve Crowley received the £90 parking charge notice (PCN) after a visit to the Lidl store in the Gloucestershire town of Yate. The store had recently introduced a new parking system, managed by Athena ANPR.
