Increasing use of phone parking has enabled Camden Council to remove over 500 pay & display machines in the past year. Over the last 12 months the north London council has removed 70% of its on-street parking machines. The reduction in pay station use comes on the back of increased cashless parking usage, according to Cobalt Telephone Technologies, parent company for RingGo.
