Get to work early to bag a parking space, AA survey finds

In a bid to secure a parking place at work, more than one in seven are giving their employers an unpaid extra half day every week, according to a new survey.

The battle for a parking space is so intense that 15% of workers are turning up more than an hour early, according to the AA-Populus survey. A further 25% arrive anything up to an hour before their start time. 

The survey also found that 36% worry they may not have anywhere to park when they arrive at work. And 37% will not drive away...
