Dundee City Council was an early adopter of the Safer Parking Scheme, joining in 2005. This was after the scheme was re-launched, having formerly been the Secured Car Park Award. Nine of Dundee’s car parks were awarded the Park Mark in 2006 and the council has increased this tally to 11 since.
