The ‘CarParkAtHay’ is a privately owned car park, partnered as an official car park of the Hay Festival of Literature and Arts. Just a small proportion of the income generated is used to cover operational and maintenance costs, with most of the takings being donated to MacMillan Cancer Support locally. This has led to £200,000 being donated to the charity over the last nine years.
