Firefighters in East Sussex raise awareness on fire hydrants

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (ESFRS) is raising awareness about the dangers of blocking access to fire hydrants.

The service said that there have been a number of incidents whereby drivers have parked across a hydrant, blocking access for routine checks. It is feared firefighters will not be able to hook up to the nearest water supply in the event of an emergency.
