'Softly, softly' approach to parking on Athlone campus

Staff and students at Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) in?Ireland are being warning notice rather than being clamped the first time that they breach parking regulations. 

The softer regime is being introduced by AIT under a new contract with APCOA Parking Ireland, which has managed the 1,136 car park for the past nine years. The new contract, awarded following another successful competitive tender runs to 2016.
