Marston buys rival bailiff Collectica from Serco

Debt recovery specialist Marston Holdings has bought rival bailiff Collectica from its owners Serco. Previously known as Philips Collection Services, Collectica employs 240 staff and self-employed agents who recover unpaid parking penalties and Council Tax arrears on behalf of local authorities.

Marston says it will operate Collectica as a separate company, as it does with Rossendales and Swift Credit Services.
