Carlisle Airport parking to be expanded

New car and goods vehicle parking areas feature in proposals to upgrade Carlisle Airport. Carlisle City Council has approved plans for a revamped runway and freight terminal at the airport.

Regional airline Stobart Air expects work on the £20m project to start before the end of the year.
