Westminster City Council’s street parking sensor and ParkRight app was named innovation of the year at the 10th Real IT Awards, which were presented in London last month. The scheme, which provides drivers with real-time information on the availability of street bays, won the Innovation in Technology category and was the runner-up in the Project of the Year and Best Use of Mobile Technologies categories.
