Councillors in Sandwell have approved plans to introduce an area-wide 20mph limit in West Bromwich town centre. Sandwell’s highways services manager, Robin Weare, said the lower limit would improve road safety in an area with high levels of casualties, complement urban realm improvements, and encourage walking and cycling.
