Could Preston bus station be reborn as car park?

A bid to save Preston’s 1960s bus station from demolition has been launched by locally-born entrepreneur Simon Rigby, founder of utilities company Spice and current chief executive of the Greengen Group

Rigby has offered to put up the cash to save Preston bus station from bulldozers after Preston Council voted to demolish the building because of the costs of running and refurbishing it.
