Who owns car parks? Car park operators own car parks, but maybe not as many as you might think. In fact, most car parks are owned by local authorities, airports, hospitals and real estate investors such as pension funds. The last group tend to own car parks because they form part of their portfolio of sites, be they office, retail or residential developments.
