When an unused site formerly housing a public toilet became available in Bury St Edmunds town centre, the borough council saw an opportunity to recognise and reward environmentally conscious motorists by creating a purpose-built car park solely for the drivers of low-emission cars.?The car park is located near ‘the arc’ shopping centre, which opened in Bury St Edmunds in March 2009.
