PayByPhone launches four more contracts

Cashless service is live in Bury, Carlisle, Walsall and Wigan

The PayByPhone parking service has gone live in four more local authority areas over the past month. Motorists in Bury, Carlisle, Walsall and Wigan can now choose from a range of phone payment options when paying to park, including smartphone apps, mobile web and text message payments. Bury went live on 2 May, Walsall on 21 May and both Carlisle and Wigan on 28 May.

The councils’ enforcement teams have been provided with Blackberry devices that have been loaded with the PayByPhone...
