Thousands of previously unauthorised parking spaces in Leeds city centre are set to be officially recognised after the council recommended approval for 11 car park planning applications.
This follows a review of the city's car parking policies in 2011 when plans to close seven such car parks operating without planning permission were reversed (PR Sep 2011).
