More than a quarter of hospital trusts in England increased parking charges for patients and visitors in the year to April 2011, new research has revealed. The figures from 197 hospital trusts, analysed by data company SSentif, shows that 28% put up their costs, while 16% reduced the costs, with 54% maintaining the status quo.
