Scottish pothole payouts hit £1.7m

Scottish roads authorities paid out £1.7m in compensation to motorists for damage caused to vehicles by potholes over the last five years. A Freedom of Information Act request by the Scottish Conservatives highlighted that successful compensation claims have risen dramatically for a number of authorities.
