A Lancashire bus operator has served notice that it will quit its current contract to provide services at two park & ride services because it cannot make the service pay.
Preston Bus has told Lancashire County Council that it will cease running the service at Walton-le-Dale and Port Way at the end of the contract on 4 August. The county council is set to advertise the tender within the next few weeks.
