London bank card payment revolution is global pioneer

By the end of 2012 TfL plans that passengers will be able to travel across its network by using contactless debit and credit cards from a range of banks

London is set to become the first city in the world where passengers are able to access an entire transport network with just a swipe of their contactless bank or credit card, independently of the transport operator’s ticketing system.
