Scottish cities explore sites for HSR termini

Edinburgh and Glasgow city councils are exploring options for where high-speed rail (HSR) stations could be located in their city centres.

The work is based on an assumption that a single high-speed line will be built into Scotland, splitting to serve Glasgow on a south-easterly approach and Edinburgh on a south-westerly approach.
