Universities offering transport Masters courses fear that public spending cuts will lead to a reduction in the number of transport professionals being produced for the UK.
The Universities’ Transport Partnership, representing eight universities, says that Government plans to cut budgets for universities and research by £600m by 2013 will increase pressure to enrol more students from outside the European Union.
