Pay-on-foot (PoF) is a technology which enabled parking operators to dispense with manned exit kiosks by centralising control of barriers and pay terminals. Contemporary PoF technology allows a range of cashless payment options, including credit and debit cards, contactless payments and pre-payments recognised by automatic number plate recognition.
