Public transport can be part of the solution

Lord Adonis made a speech on low carbon transport in November at the London Transport Museum. The secretary of state for transport had been invited to address an audience of transport professionals and campaigners by the Campaign for Better Transport.

He told them that in order to meet targets for reducing carbon there will have to be big changes: “What’s required is nothing short of a transformation in the way we plan, deliver and use transport.”
