Think-tank The Railway Forum has appointed Paul Martin as it director general, starting on 6 November. Martin joins from Alupro, the aluminium packaging recycling trade association, where he was chief executive. He was a Conservative councillor at Edinburgh City Council between 1980 and 1992 and leader of the Opposition from 1984 to 1987. Martin will take over from Adrian Lyons....
