Buses boosted in Belfast transport strategy

Quality bus corridors, a bus-based rapid transit system, better rail frequencies, road improvements, and traffic management are the major expenditure areas featured in a ten-year strategy to improve Belfast's transport system.

The Belfast metropolitan transport plan, published this week by the Northern Ireland Office, sets out an investment programme to 2015.
