New measures will make it easier and safer to cross busy roads, says TfL
 

A range of projects designed to create safer routes for pedestrians feature in Transport for London’s new Walking and Wheeling Action Plan, released on Wednesday.

Key measures include 1,000 new pedestrian crossings by 2031, making it easier and safer to cross busy roads through the TfL Business Plan and borough Local Implementation Plans (LIPs), and expanding the number of School Streets to around  1,000 in the capital.
