Newcastle Airport has unveiled a new ‘Waiting Zone’ offering up to 90 minutes free parking for taxis, minibuses and public vehicles.
The facility at Callerton Parkway, next to Callerton Metro station, provides a safe area for vehicles to wait before picking up passengers.
The airport said has invested in the enhanced waiting area to ensure its car parks and roads in surrounding communities remain safe and accessible for all users.
