Char.gy starts Brighton & Hove roll-out

Chargepoint operator char.gy has started rolling out kerbside chargers for Brighton & Hove City Council.

The company was awarded a £130m contract to provide 6,000 chargers. The new charger in Lawrence Road, Hove, is the first to be installed.

Trevor Muten, cabinet member for transport, said: “Brighton & Hove is leading the way in providing the infrastructure needed for the growing number of electric vehicle users in the city.”
