Government has suspended approval of moving traffic powers, says BPA

The UK government has delayed granting more local authorities moving traffic enforcement powers, says the British Parking Association.

Local authorities in England outside London are able to implement enforcement of moving traffic offences under Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004. Part 6 covers areas such as yellow box junctions and banned turns. London and Welsh authorities are covered by separate legislation.
